Our friends were here for the weekend so I only did one small thing today that took a lot longer than I thought. I bought 37 feet of 1" x 6" oak boards to install as the handrail/guardrail at the stairs. It will look nice once stained. I left it with Jose the carpenter to install but do not confuse him with Jose the tiler or Jose the excavator or Jose the stone installer or Jose the siding installer.
Other than that some other guys were there to install the chimney cap. I guess I will find out tomorrow how good it looks.
Every time I clean the main space out it just gets dirty again. I wish I would be done with making a mess.
